Happy Valentines Day!

Today it was a nice 68 degrees. So that was really great. The boys and I played outside most of the morning. Little zach has been hanging out with us lately. His brother Nathan was born a few weeks ago. An emergency C section was done at 26 weeks. He was born 1 pound 14 ounces. Little Nathan is still fighting like crazy. Please keep him and the Bowens in your prayers.
I also had a dentist appointment today (not exactly what I wanted to be doing for valentines day but oh well). I was told I need to go to an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth out! Ugh! So that's gonna cost a butt-load it sucks... But "this is life".
Hopefully everyone else's Valentines was better than mine!

Lots of Excitement!

We've had lots of excitement here lately. The boys' cousins Macey, Cardon, and little Lindy have been here visiting until they fly back to Italy (their dad is in the military)
Let's just say the playroom gets trashed everyday!!! Five kids 4 and under can get a little crazy!

Air and Space museum

We went to the air and space museum this week. The boys love to run around and show me where the 747s are. Who would have thought I'd actually learn about airplanes?

A Little Scare...

Ok so we made smoothies for breakfast one day.... as you can see Isaac and Avery are really enjoying them :) They got all over their face and Avery even somehow got it on his forehead.
Mom was a work and dad was in Alabama on business..... And Isaac had an allergic reaction.
It took a few hours, but luckily after a lot of soap and water his face was a lot less red.

Go Cougars!

Let's just say, I have the cutest boys ever and I've taught them well :)

They woke up from their naps jumping around doing this:

The Pit! And a New Pet!

Alright ya'll today we ventured out to what is called "The Pit" It's actually pretty cool. It's a park a few minutes away from our house. And it is literally a pit, which is kind of nice when you want to keep track of your kids. But don't worry, the boys wear the brightest clothes so we could never lose track of them. :)
Here we are playing on the teeter-tater

So as we were playing on the teeter-tater, Avery jumps off and picks up this furry little creature. I was thinking the worst. But actually he found a very hairy caterpillar. I was bought back to the days when I used to carry a lunch box to school, just to find and hide my caterpillars in. We picked up the caterpillar, Isaac tried, but he kept dropping it afraid that it would hurt him. From what I could see it was frozen to death, it wasn't moving at all. The boys insisted that we bring it home. So we rummaged through the diaper bag and found a bag to put it in until we could bring it home.
Avery (on the left) is holding the caterpillar we found, Isaac (on the right was scared to touch it)

Avery, showing off his caterpillar:

Isaac showing Aubrea a funny face :)
So we get home and guess what, 5 minutes after I change them, Isaac has a poopy diaper. Dad picks him up and he says "Isaac Poopy!" Thanks to my cold, I can't hear or smell anything. So I pull open his pants and lucky me! I stick my fingers in his fresh, poopy diaper! Oh the joys of working with 2 year olds!
After naps We found that our caterpillar is moving around. We need to go out and get a bug box so we can see our caterpillar turn in to a beautiful butterfly!

Another Blog....

Alright guys! Here's another blog to add to your readings. Many people have asked me what I've been up to lately so here's a way to keep everyone in the loop. Currently I am living in the Washington DC area, working while Drew (my boyfriend) is on his mission. Things are looking good for the two of us. So now we just have to see what happens when he gets back September 2012... yeah I know, it's a freakin long ways away! Please don't remind me. I'm also finishing up my degree through BYU independent study. One more class and I'm graduated! WOOHOO! Well I moved out here the first of January. I got my Virginia license about a week ago. It's official! I moved and starting a life out here. Honestly I really love it. The area that I'm in is BEAUTIFUL. And I just found out it's literally 3 minutes away from T.C. Williams High School. Yes the high school from Remember the Titans! I'm pretty excited to be living in an area so close to so many historical sites (not just TC Williams) I'm literally 10 minutes away from Washington DC
Even though I have officially moved, I have to rep California. :) I was pretty excited about my recent purchase. I miss NorCal sometimes, but life is good out here.
So you're probably wondering what I'm doing out here... Well I am a nanny for some pretty adorable identical two year old twin boys. It took me about two weeks to be able to tell them apart, but I've got it down now. Here we have Avery to my left and Isaac on my right.

Again Avery on the left and Isaac on the right. We're messing around with Photobooth on my computer.

Until next time, I'll try and keep you updated on all the fun times I have. Currently, I'm sick thanks to these cute little boys! Gotta love little one's immune systems.
